Well G-ville held up to its most notorious post spawn pattern(Spinnerbaits in the grass).  All our fish came on white spinnerbaits(double willow leaf).  We fished creek channel ledges close to spawning flats and pockets; that had plenty of grass and SHAD.  The shad were coming out of the channel and spawning in the grass and the bass were there gorging.  Where you caught one you would catch several, back to back.  The bad weather helped our bite allowing us to catch some of our better fish later in the day.  Our big fish came from ripping a bulky jig out of the grass; a pattern that i think would have increased our bag; but the wind blew for about 7 hours and 50 min only allowing me to fish it for ten minutes.
